How to send invoices to the Malaysian tax authority LHDN

  • How to send an e-invoice to a Malaysian customer via LHDN and Peppol

    As a Malaysian company you need to register your invoice first with the tax authorities in Malaysia, before sending it to your customer. Follow these steps to do this in Billit:

    Connect to LHDN

    1. Connect to the Malaysian tax authority LHDN via the 'Integrations' menu and search for the tile 'LHDN'. 
    2. Click the 'Available' button to continue
    3. Fill in your company credentials and click 'Add'. If you don't have your login details, please contact LHDN

    Send your invoice to LHDN

    1. Now create your invoice for your Malaysian customer. You can find the step-by-step instructions on the Malaysian e-invoicing page
    2. Click 'Send' to see all options and choose the 'MyInvois' button. This will send your invoice to the Malaysian tax authorities
    3. As soon as your invoice is received, the Peppol button will turn green. You can now send the same invoice to your customer via Peppol
