With two-step verification (MFA – multi-factor authentication), you add an extra layer of security to your Billit account. Even if someone knows your password, they cannot access your account without the MFA code.
After activating MFA, you log in with:
Have you enabled MFA, but no longer have access to your MFA code or don't know where to find it? Then follow the steps below in the order indicated.
Do you use an iPhone or iPad? If so, your MFA code may have been automatically saved in Apple's Passwords app.

When activating MFA, you scanned a QR code with an authenticator app on your smartphone.
Supported apps
We only support and recommend the following authenticator apps:
Your MFA code will therefore be located in one of these two apps.
How to check the code:
Have you installed both apps? If so, check both, as the QR code may have been added in the other app.
Can't find a Billit code in either app? Then continue to Step 3.
If your phone number has been verified before, you can use SMS verification as an alternative method.

After logging in via SMS verification, MFA must be set up correctly again.

Ensure that MFA is set up correctly this time and that you retain access to the authenticator app.
Are you unable to log in or deactivate MFA using one of the above methods? In that case, MFA can only be disabled via an additional security check.
