  • The identity verification was performed by the wrong person. What should I do?

    If the identity verification when creating your Billit account was performed by a person who is not listed in the Belgian Crossroads Bank for Enterprises (KBO), it is not possible to link your company to Peppol.

    Identity verification must always be carried out by the official manager or by a person who is correctly registered in the CBE. This verification can only be carried out via itsme® and is always available via My company > Verification center.

    If you do not have itsme®

    If you do not have itsme® and if the verification was carried out by someone who is not registered as a manager in the CBE, the verification will be considered invalid.

    Here's how to set this up correctly:

    1. Go to Settings > Users.
    2. Add a new user and save it.
    3. Log in with this new user.
    4. Complete the identity verification with the official business manager in the Dashboard.
    5. Once verification is complete, you can activate the link with Peppol in My company > E-invoicing > Register on Peppol.

    Important:
    Once completed, you can immediately (on the same day) deactivate this temporary user via Settings > Users, so that no additional costs are charged.
