You can find your user profile by first clicking the arrow next to the users icon in the upper right corner and then 'My profile'.

  • Identity verification for Peppol

    To use Billit securely, we ask you to verify the identity of a legal representative of your company. This is required to gain access to secure e-invoicing networks such as Peppol, to protect your account, and to ensure optimal customer support.

    For Belgian companies:

    You can verify your identity in several ways:

    • Click on “Verify identity” in the blue box on the dashboard. You will then see three options to verify your identity. Choose one of the options and follow the steps on the screen.
    • Go to “My company” and click the “Verify” button at the bottom of the Verification Center. Then complete the verification via itsme (or send the itsme link to a legal representative who is listed in the CBE).
    • Are you not a legal representative yourself? Then click “Verify” at the bottom of the Verification Center in the “My company” menu and send the itsme link to the legal representative.

    Afterwards, you may receive different notifications:

    • If the identity verification is successful, it will automatically be checked whether your name is listed as a legal representative in the CBE. If so, you will receive a notification confirming that the verification was successful.
    • If the identity verification is not successful, you will be asked to try again or to complete the verification via itsme or eID.
    • If the identity verification is successful but the name of the verified user is not listed in the CBE, you will be asked to send the required supporting documents proving that you are a legal representative of your company to compliance@billit.eu.

    Don’t forget to complete your registration on Peppol after the identity verification via My company > E-invoicing > Register at Peppol.

    What if verification via your eID card does not work?

    Your antivirus software may be the cause. Check your settings to see whether it is blocking the reading of your identity card and, if necessary, temporarily disable this setting.

    Checking identity verification via the Verification Center

    To ensure the security and accuracy of company information, it is important that the identity of the company’s legal representative is correctly verified. You can easily check this via the Verification Center.

    How do you check the status of the identity verification?

    In the platform, go to My company. Navigate to the Verification Center section.

    Check the status:

    • Green badge “Verified”: the identity of the company’s legal representative has been correctly verified.
    • Button “Verify”: the verification has not yet been completed.

    If the verification has not yet been completed, click the Verify button to start the verification process, or click Verify identity in the blue box on the dashboard.

    Don’t forget to complete your registration on Peppol after the identity verification via My company > E-invoicing > Register at Peppol.
